Leap app fees explained
Short answer: at launch Leap charges no platform fee. You pay only the Solana network fee and the routing cost, and the app shows both before you confirm a trade. Leap has said its own fees will come later, but the rate has not been announced yet.
What you pay on Leap today
Every buy and sell screen in the current TestFlight build shows a fee line. On a sell it reads "No Leap fee", followed by the other costs of the trade. In our test those other fees were $0.16 for a sale and $0.18 for a buy of roughly $45 to $50. These are not Leap's fees: they are the Solana network fee plus the cost of routing the swap through Jupiter, and they change with trade size, the token and network conditions.

What changes when Leap fees go live
Leap has announced that platform fees will be introduced later. Three things are tied to that moment:
- The fee rate itself. Not announced yet. Until it is, any number you see elsewhere is a guess.
- Your 10% rebate. If you joined with an invite code such as U5XNY, you get 10% of your own Leap fees back for 6 months. With no fees today, the rebate is currently zero.
- The planned SOL buyback and burn. Leap has said a share of its fees is meant to buy SOL on the market and burn it, removing it from supply for good. This is a stated plan, not a guarantee, and no SOL is burned through Leap until fees are switched on.
Leap fees vs other Solana apps
Phantom and Jupiter Mobile publish their own pricing, which can change; check phantom.com and jup.ag for current numbers. Leap's position next to them will only be clear once its own rate is known. For now the honest comparison is: Leap's platform fee is zero, and you still pay normal Solana network and routing costs as everywhere else.

Does Leap charge fees?
At launch Leap charges no platform fee. You only pay the Solana network fee and the routing cost, which the app shows before each trade. Leap fees are planned for later; the rate has not been announced.
What are the "other fees" on a Leap trade?
They are the Solana network fee and the swap routing cost (Leap routes through Jupiter). In our test they were $0.16 to $0.18 on trades of about $45 to $50.
When will Leap introduce fees?
Leap has not given a date. When fees go live, the 10% invite-code rebate and the planned SOL buyback and burn start as well.
How does the 10% fee rebate work?
If you join the waitlist with an invite code such as U5XNY, you get 10% of your own Leap fees back for 6 months once fees exist. Right now there is nothing to rebate.
