How to get Leap access (TestFlight)
Leap is invite-only for now. You join a waitlist with an invite code, and Leap sends iPhone TestFlight invites in waves. The whole sign-up takes about a minute; the waiting is the slow part. Here is exactly what to do.
Step by step
- Install TestFlight firstTestFlight is Apple's free app for beta software. Having it ready means you can accept your Leap invite the moment it arrives.
- Open the Leap waitlistGo to leap.xyz/r/U5XNY or leap.xyz and choose the waitlist.
- Continue with GoogleYour Google account creates the waitlist entry. No wallet or crypto is needed yet.
- Enter an invite codeWhen asked for a friend's code, enter U5XNY. You become a Founders Club member and get the 10% fee rebate for 6 months once fees go live. Leap has not published a way to add a code later, so do it at this step.
- Watch your email and @leapxyz on XInvites go out by email in waves, and Leap also posts TestFlight links on X.
- Install Leap and back up the walletAccept the invite in TestFlight, install Leap and save your wallet backup somewhere safe. It is self-custodial: nobody can restore it for you.
How to get your invite sooner
Leap moves people up the waitlist when they share their own invite code, so passing your code to friends who actually want the app can bring your wave forward. Keep an eye on @leapxyz on X as well, because public TestFlight links have been posted there.
Who can join
Right now Leap runs on iPhone through TestFlight; Android is "coming soon". Leap is not available in the UK and other restricted regions, and tokenized stocks and ETFs are not available to US persons. Leap is meant for adults. Check Leap's Terms of Use for your country before you sign up.
